Composition of dental crowns
 

At Center for Advanced Dentistry our crowns are made from porcelain and are metal-free.

Our porcelain crowns are built on a ceramic substrate that is created by a computer using CAD-CAM technology. This allows it to fit very accurately over the natural tooth. We then select a specific mix of porcelain colors that mimics the color of your natural teeth. Once they are bonded into place they have a beautiful life-like appearance.

Porcelain crowns are so carefully matched in color, they cannot be distinguished from your natural teeth.  Many people choose porcelain crowns for their cosmetic appearance and the confidence it gives them.
